100 Happy Days Project: #50
30/8Today was Kay's last day staying in Dresden with me. Nevertheless we didn't let it stop us from having our fun. We woke up earlier than usual and started getting ready. We drank miso soup 😂 as breakfast dipped with toast and headed out.
Lunch was a döner box which KAY didn't like but I did because she was expecting vege but there were only meat and fries.
Then we walked and shopped around for whatever Kay wanted ☺️
Awkward sippy faces.
Thing was we were later for Kay's train. We ran like crazy with her huge bag filled with whatever she bought. I had like the feeling that we were in some reality adventure show, amazing race germany. And she had to take a later one which arrived later than expected. SORRY if u are reading this 💕☺️
These 5 days have been crazy with u 🍍🍍
Then I had to walk/run all the way back home from the station and got ready for Film night. It is an outdoor cinema and people bring blankets and sit in chairs and watch movies. We watched The Physician. It was really good, besides the fact it was windy there and being me, never dressing appropriately for the weather, was jiggling on my chair just to keep warm.
The screen was set so Dresden was at the background.

Today we went to the Castle which was in Pillnitz. It was pretty warm which I didn't really like it. I wished the weather was a little more cooling.
Then Kay was saying she was hungry and how her stomach was growling. So I took her to Schillerplatz to eat good cake and ice cream.
After sitting and talking, we had to rush to the Asia shop to get ingredients to cook our Malaysian dish:
Saw durian!!!
Our end product was good. Like really good.
Malaysians out there: we made our nation proud with our food 😂
Nasi briyani and curry with super loads of coconut milk.
Be proud.

Day 2: Kay's stayHeaded out to the city abit late today. We managed to find nice boots for Kay and also to dm to find cosmetics we don't need but think we need. Money not enough 😂😂😂
Then we tried to BBQ again but it was impossible to light up all the coals and start a fire. Idiots.
Having given up, we decided to treat ourselves to Greek food for surviving half a year.
Then there was wifi so Kay received a Skype call. It was really funny talking on the phone in the middle of nowhere. I also found a fossil watch which was super pretty and babe offered to buy it for me. MUST. CONTROL. WATCH. FETTISH.
Eye swollen and throbbing as ever but nah. The show must go on. I don't know what for a show but ok.

Soooooo. Miss kay in the house ✌️ It was a rainy morning as I woke up and my younger sister came in the room to wake me. We grabbed our blankets and sat in the living room watching movies early morning. Then I went to the train station to pick Kay kay ✌️
We went to the Asia shop and was super excited to remember all the food we used to have when we were in malaysia.
Walked around shopping today as Kay wanted to get Docs but the only ones were coloured. She is scrolling the catalog online now 😂
Talked too much, walked too much, got Starbucks that made it too cold for me to hold and walk.
We planned on going to the Elbe to BBQ but city people have city problems. We couldn't light the coals and start a fire to grill our cheese and turkey meat. Sucks.
But ended up home earlier and drank yummy soup 💕

Instead of spending time at home, we managed to get our butts moving and went to take a walk in the forests. Yes, Europeans love walking. Too bad I am not a big fan of it.
It was cold that day, even colder in the woods and my hands were numb at some point of time.
And we found mushrooms!
Also got nutcrackers. There was a Cinderella story in Germany about Cinderella and the three hazel nuts. Therefore, my mum picked one for me 💕
And there were these plants who stuck on to you. Disgusting but funny. It's little things can even hook on to your epidermis. I have them lying around at home here cuz we decided on bringing them home. Dangerously funny and fun.
And here is a view of my city if u can even see anything.

Today was baking day with my host family. We decided on baking Pflaummkuchen. Then my older sis decided on adding apples which tasted really good. The base was mixed with normal and whole grain flour.
Then after I went to my friend's place to make chocolate stuff. We took chocolate, and melted it to become even better chocolate with different toppings.
Chocolate mixed with coconut pulver and topped off with more coconut sprinkles.
Chocolate with sliced lemons and fresh sliced grapes.
